New Special Olympics Huddle Started in Scottsbluff

By October 26, 2012 Western

God is working in the hearts of Special Olympic athletes in the Scottsbluff area as a new FCA huddle has started under the leadership of Megan Massey and Sandy Gutwein.  It all started when Megan and Sandy looked around at the world that God had place them in, they saw a need, and they acted on it.  Over 100 Special Olympics athletes get together during the fall, winter, and spring for volleyball, basketball, and softball.  Roughly 40 of those athletes have been coming to FCA before the special olympics practices and games to hear about Jesus, what He has done on the cross for our sin, and how they can honor him with their lives.  This should be a challenge to all of us to look around at the world where God has placed us and ask the same question of how God might want to use us to make Him known.  Be praying for Megan and Sandy as they use FCA as a tool to reach these kids for Christ.
