George Darlington, the former longtime Nebraska assistant coach was recognized before the Huskers played South Dakota State this past weekend. Coach Darlington is also a longtime FCA supporter and coach. Though he is 71, he has joined Mark Waller’s staff at Lincoln North Star High School this season. Darlington said, “I just don’t relish sitting around. In other words, retirement is not an option.” We’re thankful for Coach Darlington’s desire to stay busy and glorify the Lord through coaching.
