At Distance Camp in June, 91 students gathered in Kearney to learn how to run for the glory of God. After spending time in God’s Word, they would go on their runs with the mindset of keeping their eyes fixed on Christ! Each runner was asked to identify a focal point they could visually lock-in on that would remind them of their Savior and the freedom they have in him! Athletes were repeatedly challenged to know Christ and grow in Him throughout the week!
Last week at Leadership Camp, 187 campers invaded UNK’s campus, and were trained to maximize their gifts and compete with excellence for the glory of God. Campers heard from Roy Helu, Jr. on how to be a leader for Christ and learned about the powerful role of the Holy Spirit in a Christian’s life from Mo Dixon. Over 20 coaches served at camp, and ended their time there discussing how to better reach their athletes with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
