Community

The Nebraska FCA Community Ministry provides programs and resources to assist the Booster Club in advancing the gospel across the broader community through partnerships with local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers.

The following are programs designed to provide outreach opportunities for the community, as well as allow the community to invest in athletes and coaches by raising funds for local ministry events and camp scholarships.

*Fifth Quarter Parties – Fifth Quarters are outreach events scheduled after games where the teams and public are invited to hear the gospel through testimonies from athletes and coaches.

*Fields of Faith – A program designed to reach both youth and adults with personal testimonies of the saving work of Christ and a challenge to spend time reading God’s Word.

* Adult Huddles – Bible study groups for adults that meet regularly to study God’s Word and pray for the community and the huddles.

*Banquets – Larger community-wide events designed to share the gospel and introduce others to the ministry of the FCA.

*Golf Scrambles – Area golf tournaments designed to share the gospel and get new people involved in the local FCA ministry through the sport of golf.

*Golf Marathons – Marathons are a very effective way to help raise funds that support the area FCA staff and the local huddle/Booster Club ministry.
